Your first visit is not just a service; it's a transformative experience from the moment you step into our private curl sanctuary, where curls come to life.
We are located inside Sola Salon Suites in Studio 16A. Our main entrance is located near the Whole Foods at Plymouth Meeting Mall. Enjoy free parking, and make your way to the Mall entrance, where you'll find the entrance to Sola Salon Studios as well.
⭐️WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT
Expect your service to include an in-depth consultation, personalized care, expert education, and dedicated attention to your curls. Expect to be kept in the loop each step of the way as I will share the why behind each step and product I use for your service, as well how. To compliment this experience we ask all first-time guests book the Ultimate Curl Retreat for New Guests. This signature session is designed to detox, reset, reshape, and renew your relationship with your texture for the best results.
If you are already happy with your haircare regime, and are not new to embracing your curls, but are new to me, you may opt to book New Guest DevaCut/Custom Curl Cut.
⭐️ HOW TO PREPARE
Arrive at the salon relaxed and confident, and plan to walk away feeling like your best self! Arrive with your curls cleansed detangled and fully dry, avoiding heavy gels, excess product buildup, twist outs, ponytails, or buns, which can disturb the natural curl pattern and affect the timing set aside for your service. *The haircut will be a dry cut, and will be done after our consultation, and prior to the treatment process at the shampoo bowl.
It is essential to see your curls true nature and behavior, this helps to successfully blend and balance sections where different curl patterns may be present. Additional fine tuning, and curl by curl detailing may be done to at the end of the service, but having you shape established while your hair is in its most natural state works best for a lasting, precise, and versatile shape.
Bring a list or photos of the products you currently use so we can customize your experience and plan your haircare regimen between salon visits. Products I use during your visit in the salon will likely still be recommended and offered in an effort to maintain hair health and recreate your style at home.
Lastly prepare for a quick mini photo shoot to document your stunning before and after transformation!
⭐️ AFTERCARE SUPPORT
Your visit includes a personalized curl care regimen and professional product recommendations. You will receive a follow-email to support your routine at home. A scalp and curl reset is recommended to support your haircare goals once per month.
⭐️ RUNNING LATE OR NEED TO RESCHEDULE?
Please arrive on time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require rescheduling and a fee for additional time. We require 48 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellation fees will apply to appointments cancelled or rescheduled with that 48 hour window.
